Terms and conditions

By signing up to any classes, workshops or events with Maison Magenta you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Bookings

  • All class and workshop bookings are final and non-refundable. If you have booked onto a course and can no longer commit, a refund can be issued in the form of credit for another course within 7 days of booking
  • Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received. All classes and workshops MUST be paid by the date on the invoice. After this point a late fee of 10% will be added.
  • Please do not turn up to a class or workshop having not paid.
  • Hen parties and events require a non-refundable deposit of 25% that must be made to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event.
  • Hen parties and events have minimum participant charges. You can make a booking for fewer people, but must pay for the minimum. If more people take part extra charges will occur but refunds will not be give if fewer people partake than what was booked.

Health and safety

  • By signing up to a course, workshop or event you are agreeing that you are fit and well to take part in said activity.
  • Any relevant injury or illness must be declared to the teacher at the start of any lesson. If undisclosed relevant medical information is discovered, students may be removed from class without refund.
  • Maison Magenta takes no responsibility for any injuries taken on during the course of a session. Teachers are correctly trained and can advise on how to avoid injuries but students are responsible for their own health and well being.
  • Pregnant woman are more than welcome to join our classes, however, we ask that you speak with a medical professional first and keep us updated on any relevant information.

Conduct and behavior

  • Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during sessions will be asked to leave and not return and will not be entitled to a refund. No alcohol is to be brought to classes.
  • Maison Magenta’s core values are about being supportive and building up women, any negative behavior, harassment or bullying will not be tolerated (including online). Anyone who breaches this will be asked to leave and will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Harassment, abuse or disrespect towards teaching staff or assistance (including online) will not be tolerated and offenders will be asked to leave and will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Any acts or threats of violence will be treated with immediate removal from Masion Magenta without exception and without refund.
  • Negative comments about another student’s appearance or ability will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate removal from Masion Magenta and without refund.
  • No student is to give unsolicited advice or instruction to other class members – only the teacher is to instruct the class.

Photography and filming

  • By attending sessions ran by Maison Magenta you are consenting to being in photos and videos that may be used for commercial and advertising purposes.
  • You are within you rights to request to not be in any photos or videos, but you must make this clear at the start of your first session.
  • All classes and events will have an allocated time for taking photos and recording routines, we ask that you do not record or take photos outside of this.
  • You may share photos and videos from in class on to your social media pages, but we ask you get the consent of anyone else who features in them. You must also tag Maison Magenta in any of these.

Copyright of choreography and images

  • All dances taught in classes and workshops are the property of Maison Magenta. They must not be taught or performed anywhere without prior consent.
  • Photos and videos that are shared on Maison Magenta’s website and social media pages are the property of the company. They may be shared for advertising purposes but must always be linked back to the original source.

Cancellation

  • In the rare scenario that Maison Magenta has to cancel a class or event we will give as much notice as possible and will refund or reschedule at our discretion.

Property

  • Maison Magenta takes no responsibility for any private property brought to classes or events which is lost, damaged or stolen.

Privacy and your data

When you sign up to classes, workshops or events with Maison Magenta your contact details will be taken.

Theses details will be used as a way to contact you about your booking and to inform you of any relevant details. We will also use them to let you know about any news, events and more on offer.

Personal details will never be passed on to other individuals or companies. You can request to have your personal details removed as a way to contact you at any point.

Our classes will have Whatsapp groups dedicated to them as a way of communicating outside of sessions but you will be asked if you would like to join these before you are added. It is not compulsory to be a part of Whatsapp groups but it is strongly advised.
